Seeds

The annual capacity of the Dotnuva Baltic UAB seed preparation plant, which started operating in 2003, is 30 thousand tonnes of seeds bearing the Dotnuva Seeds brand.

We represent and distribute the seeds of cereals, rape, corn, sugar beet, fodder, lawn grass and bean plants of the Institute of Agriculture of the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) and the most famous international seed companies. We cooperate with DLF Seeds & Science, Saaten Union, DSV, Maribo, Lantmännen, Syngenta Seeds, RAGT, Rapool, Bayer CropScience, Basf, KWS, Saatbau Linz, HR Smolice and others.

The seeds are sold by Linas Agro, and the main seed markets are Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In addition to these countries, our seeds are sold in other EU countries as well as in Belarus. We have also started the process of variety registration in Ukraine. Another part of our activity is the seed propagation for other seed companies in the EU. We propagate the seeds of perennial grasses, mustard, fodder radish, etc.

Agricultural machinery, services and spare parts

In our range of agricultural machinery, we have everything necessary for work on crop and livestock farms: tractors, grain and forage harvesters, tillage, sowing and forage preparation machinery, sprayers and fertiliser spreaders, front end, telescopic and articulated loaders, trailers and semi-trailers, irrigation and manure handling equipment.

Prior to offering any equipment, we delve into the needs of each farm and try to find the best solution together with the client. The hire-purchase of equipment is possible, and we also offer rental and service options. If there is a need, we can even negotiate for the repurchase of used equipment.

All of our equipment conforms to the safety and environmental requirements of the European Union legislation. A warranty is granted, while warranty services and post-warranty maintenance are provided and spare parts are supplied.

In all three Baltic countries we represent: Case IH, Kverneland, Cimbria, Irrimec, Kongskilde, Quicke, Jeantil, Agrifac, Agrisem, MacDon, Wielton, Schäffer, Siloking, Einböck (except in Estonia) and Laumetris (except in Latvia).

Maintenance services and spare parts

The maintenance services are performed by over 40 highly-qualified engineers and technicians, who continuously work to improve their qualification during training sessions organised by the equipment manufacturers. Agricultural machinery service centres are available in Dotnuva, Joniškis, Pasvalys, Vilkaviškis, Plungė and Vilnius. In addition, 26 service vehicles are equipped with modern diagnostic and repair equipment, tools and spare parts. If necessary, maintenance service work can also be performed on weekends.

Spare parts are sold at six of our sales outlets in Lithuania – Dotnuva, Joniškis, Pasvalys, Plungė, Vilkaviškis and Vilnius. We have a wide range of spare parts available in all of these sales outlets, while the Dotnuva Baltic warehouses house 14,000 items. The value of the warehouse inventory is about 3 million euros. If we do not have the spare part you need in stock, we can have it delivered from the suppliers within 24 hours or within 5 business days. If necessary, we can deliver the goods ordered in Lithuania directly to your home via an express delivery service.

Regulated drainage

The Ekodrena regulated drainage system is an innovative and research-based solution for agriculture. In the Baltic States, this solution is important both for its economic effect and its positive impact on the environment, as it reduces pollution and protects the surrounding area. The competencies of Dotnuva Baltic’s experienced engineers allow us to professionally adapt the regulated drainage systems to the fields of a specific farm, thus contributing to the growth of the farm's yields. Regulated drainage helps maintain proper water levels in the soil, reduces the consequences of dry periods and improves the cultivation for up to 20-30 percent higher yields. It also helps to stop the leaching of fertilisers from the soil, which contributes to reducing pollution.

Our grain equipment objects for agriculture and industry are designed and installed by professional designers and engineers. Our range includes feed production, grain drying, cleaning, sorting, baiting, transport and storage equipment, as well as air purification and dust collection equipment. We represent the Cimbria, Bin, Symaga, Kongskilde, JKF Industri A/S, Brandt, Andritz and JEMA A/S manufacturers, whose equipment meets the highest quality requirements. Optimal results are ensured by modern equipment controls and management devices.
